How is page order decided?

By the order in which you drop the PDFs — file A pages 1–10, file B pages 1–15, etc. You can't reorder inside the merger yet; save each file in the order you want first.

Is there a file limit?

Each file up to 100 MB, total upload up to 500 MB.

Are bookmarks preserved?

Yes — internal bookmarks in each source PDF are preserved (but not rewritten to point at the new page numbers).

Are password-protected PDFs supported?

Not directly — unlock each file with Unlock PDF first, then merge.

Do you keep the merged file?

No. Every merged output is deleted after one hour.

Pro tips for Merge PDF

Rename files 01_intro.pdf, 02_body.pdf, 03_appendix.pdf so the merge order is obvious.
Compress the final PDF with Compress PDF if the merged file is too big to email.
Add a cover page in Word, export it to PDF, and merge as the first file for a professional touch.
