0 files ready

Upload a PDF, Word, plain-text or PowerPoint file and download a version with grammar and spelling automatically corrected. The corrector uses LanguageTool — the same open-source engine that powers many desktop writing assistants — with a lightweight pyspellchecker fallback for edge cases. Ideal for polishing emails, drafts and reports before publishing.

Common ways to use Grammar Corrector

Polish an ebook draft

Fix hundreds of typos in one pass instead of scrolling every page.

Clean up OCR output

OCR often introduces "rn" for "m" — the corrector reverses common OCR mistakes.

Improve translated docs

Machine-translated drafts benefit from a grammar pass before publication.

Clean student essays

Teachers see cleaner submissions when students run their drafts through first.

Prep marketing copy

Blog posts and landing pages ship faster when a machine catches obvious typos.

Grammar Corrector — frequently asked questions

Which language does it support?

English (US and UK). We can extend to Spanish, French, German and more on request — LanguageTool ships with 20+ languages.

How accurate is it?

LanguageTool typically catches 85–95% of common grammar and spelling issues. Style suggestions (passive voice, wordiness) are conservative.

Does it change my formatting?

Word (.docx) and PPTX outputs are rewritten as PDF for reliability. TXT stays TXT. If you need to preserve heavy Word formatting, run the check on the extracted text and paste corrections back manually.

Are my documents used to train AI?

No. Files are processed locally and deleted within one hour. No content is sent to any external LLM or training pipeline.

Can it fix domain-specific jargon?

Medical, legal and scientific terms may be flagged as misspellings — add them to your document's glossary or ignore those specific suggestions.
